Swine Flu - ( H1N1 pandemic)

If you have a sudden onset of fever over 38 degrees and two or more of the following : cough, sore throat, blocked up nose, limb or joint pains and headache then you may have developed swine flu

In this case, please
DO NOT come in to the clinic. Telephone us and we will be happy to advise and if necessary arrange for a healthy friend or relative of yours to collect tamiflu tablets ( only suitable for adults and children over 13) from the clinic. Alternatively medication could be posted.

While ill you should isolate yourself at home and be diligent with hand hygiene and tissues for all coughs and sneezes.

Please note that although a specific vaccine against swine flu is in production, it is not going to be available privately at all. All stocks are committed to national government contracts.
